News Update:

Hi There All You Trailblazers!

It’s been an unprecedented 3 months but the good news is that Spain will open its borders to members of the EU’s Schengen

Zone and the UK on June 21. The border was originally due to remain closed until July 1.

Things definitely feel as they are moving in the right direction

here in Spain. Hotels, restaurants and beaches have now

opened. So here at Trailblazerspro we are all ready and set to

start taking riders out!

Many have been able to move their original booking to a later

date and so we are eager to give these a big welcome to our

part of Spain!

To make it easier for you to make a booking we are

implementing a temporary arrangement. This new booking

procedure allows you to book a date for yourself or your group

WITHOUT paying a deposit at the time of booking. We will not

require your deposit until 5 days prior to your departure date.

Also the deposit has temporarily been reduced to just £50 per

person! Then the balance can be paid for when arriving in

Spain.

We feel this will helpfully allow you to make a booking either

this year or next year.

So what are you waiting for! Start planning now. Many flights to Malaga are very cheap! Some amazing bargains on flights out

now!

Email or call Mark and book your unforgettable Trailblazer Trip now!

All best to you all.

 2 Stroke Fuel/Oil Ratios

Mixing 2 stroke fuel ratios is very important for dirt bikes, and it’s something you need to do correctly or you’ll damage or even destroy the engine to a point of no return. Many people seem confused about the ratios to mix the fuel and oil in their bikes. The best way to that is mix it at the ratio recommended by the manufacturer of your dirt bike. After all are the ones who know the engine better than anyone else including your local mechanic and bikes guru. Keep in mind the ratios the manufacturers recommend are for a high performance dirt bike that is designed to race at its full capacity. If you have pro skills and you ride your bike at full throttle most of the time it’s important to use the recommended petrol to oil mix to keep the piston and rings properly lubricated. On the other hand, if you are just dawdling around and ride your bike in the low to mid revs range, that extra oil is probably not needed to unnecessary at all. The main problem with not going for the recommended fuel/oil ratio is that the carburetor is set up for a specific amount of petrol/oil/air mixture, so if you significantly alter this ratio you will need to change the jets and carburetor settings to suit the specific mixture. Some riders run their bikes at 40:1. If you aren’t sticking it everywhere you will get away with this. Just keep this in mind: You will not damage your engine by mixing too much oil with your gas. The worst it might do is foul plugs, although a junked up carburetor or incorrect carburetor settings are a far more likely cause of fowled plugs and a smoky exhaust. However, if you forget to mix oil in at all, or don’t use enough you risk wearing out the engine prematurely or seizing it. Our recommendations are to use only high quality or premium two stroke oil. Castrol, Bel Ray and Yamalube are some of the brands that produce high quality synthetic 2 stroke oils for high performance motorcycles. You will pay more for the quality but the benefits are great. Reduced smoke, reduced carbon and polished deposit build-up, better performance, greater engine protection and longevity. Also, it’s not recommended that you mix two different brands/types of oil together as clotting can result. If you’re going to change oils use up the old stuff first. When we are talking about fuel use only premium high octane petrol/gas. All best to you all.
